Cool off this summer with a sweet cold treat and donate to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center while you’re at it! Now through August 2 you can purchase a Miracle Balloon at participating Dairy Queen locations to help kids treated at our hospital.

Kids like Michael. Michael’s life had been a confusing, scary pattern of symptoms that doctors struggled to figure out. Blindness in one eye, a hole in his heart, respiratory issues and cognitive delays were just some of his struggles. He was constantly sick, and in 2012 his breathing nearly failed and he was rushed to the hospital.

Soon afterwards, Michael met the doctor who finally diagnosed his rare combination of syndromes, and started him on life-saving infusion therapy to help regulate his breathing. That means this one-of-a-kind boy can focus on the important stuff, like going to school.

Dairy Queen has been a proud partner of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals since 1984 and has raised more than $134 million for local children’s hospitals. Last year raising a record-breaking,$62,458 here locally for Connecticut Children’s!

Guests visiting Dairy Queen locations supporting CT Children’s can purchase a paper Miracle Balloon to publicly pledge support and get either $3 or $5 in discount coupons good for food or drink on your next visit.

DQ’s annual Miracle Balloon campaign caps off with Miracle Treat Day on August 2 where $1 or more from every Blizzard® Treat sold at participating DQ locations will benefit local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
